How was everyone's Valentine's Day yesterday? I hope you all had a great day filled with love & chocolate, no matter who you celebrated the day with.
So I have a confession & don't hate me, but I'm honestly not that crazy about Valentine's Day. I know I know, I'm a girl and I have an amazing hubby and I'm not allowed to say that haha. I don't hate it, but I also don't obsess over it. To me, it's so much more special to spend time together 'just because' rather than because everyone else is doing it. And receiving flowers randomly... HELLO.. way to my heart! Me and Carl Michael normally celebrate Valentine's Day together at home with wine, pizza & movie watching. We prefer to avoid the crazy crowds and having to make a reservation months in advance to get into any quality restaurants. We act like old people and I'm 100% ok with it :)
This year was a little different because my sweet hubs has recently started going back to school and still works full time, meaning he is in class 2 days a week until around 8:00 at night. Since he was going to be in class late on Valentine's Day, he surprised me on Monday after work by ringing our doorbell with flowers & some amazing wine and it was precious.
So I wanted to share this lightweight sweater dress with y'all which is now on sale for $89! It comes in two neutral colors, and y'all know I'm all about the neutrals. This dress will be perfect to transition into the spring. I'm wearing it here with my over the knee boots (also one of my favorite purchases from this season), which makes it a little more chilly weather friendly, but you could easily pair it with a simple sandal and some earrings for a daytime outfit this Spring. The little bell sleeve adds a nice touch without being too distracting if you're not into the bell sleeve trend. I love this dress and I'm sure you'll see me wearing it quite a bit in the next few weeks.
I'm linking details here, as well as at the end of the post. You can click the icons below to be directed to the website for purchase. My boots are currently sold old which makes me so sad because I'm obsessed, but I'll link a couple of similar options at good price points.
I hope you guys are having a fabulous hump day!
XOXO MEGAN KRISTINE.
