Happy Tuesday, guys!
This post was supposed to go live on Friday, but it was my birthday and I've been on the struggle bus lately. I'm not sure why, but I've felt so overwhelmed and like I can't get organized the past week or so. But, it's a new week and I'm happy to say I'm more focused.
If you have been following along on my Instastories, you may have seen that my parents bought me the most beautiful Bible for my birthday last week. Leather, gold pages, and even has my name imprinted in gold lettering on the front cover. It's the Bible I've been wanting for years and I'm over the moon excited about it. The best gift evaaaa. I will also be starting a new bible study next week, and I'm anxious to get back into the swing of things and focus on what's really important in life. That being said, we have some super exciting news coming soon, so be on the lookout for that in the next week or so!
So who's over this crazy weather? It's cold, it's hot, it's chilly, rainy, warm again... I can't take it anymore and I've been so confused on what to wear. I'll get dressed in the morning in a sweater and pants and head out for the day, because it's in the 40's/50's, and by sweating and look like a lunatic because it's 85 degrees by 2:00 pm. Layers Megan, I need to remember to dress in layers. But I'm so over this weather and so ready for pretty spring weather to stick around.
A few weekends ago, my mother and I went shopping to try to pick something out for my sister's birthday. She's a little more difficult to shop for and most of the time ends up picking out her own gifts. But on our shopping trip we stopped by Madewell and I hit the jackpot. I picked up this dress, and this top and I love them both. I also later ordered this one online, which I shot yesterday, so it will make it's way to the blog in the next couple of weeks! Madewell makes the most wonderful quality clothes and they are totally worth the price, in my opinion. My dad has always told me you get what you pay for when it comes to the quality in everything, and that definitely holds true when it comes to clothes. Now don't get me wrong, I love a good shopping spree to H&M or Old Navy here and there, but when you pay $15 for a top, you can't expect it to last forever. Every piece of clothing I've ever purchased from Madewell is still going strong and still fits so well. PS - this post is not sponsored, I just really love their clothing.
My obsession with blue and white stripes is getting a little out of hand, and you may be sick of seeing them on my posts, but just a forewarning, I have a few more looks to share that consist of them. But can you blame me?! Such a cute combo and they're everywhere!
I hope you are all having a great start to your week. Let me know if there's anything in particular you'd like to see on the blog in the next couple of months.
