Happy Tuesday! I actually can't believe it's already Tuesday, and when I just typed that out I had to check and make sure I didn't have my days mixed up.
How was everyone's weekend?! We went to Houston for the weekend to visit friends and it was the best time. We saw Dave Matthews Band on Friday in the Woodlands, had a pool day on Saturday and then went to Karbach's Love Street Music Fest on Sunday. The concert actually got rained out on Sunday and was cancelled early. I felt so bad because Carl Michael has been a Cold War Kids fan basically since their beginning, and that was the main band he was looking forward to. I will say that watching Everclear brought back so many memories from middle school - I used to be a little on the emo side, but we won't talk about those days - haha! Luckily, we had purchased VIP tickets and we were able to run inside just before the downpour started. We didn't get back home until about 1:00 AM Sunday night, so maybe that's why my week started off a little crazy yesterday.
I mentioned in my last post that I've been trying to find pieces that are non-maternity but able to grow with the bump, and this shirt is perfect for that. I love that it's a little longer in the back, but not short in the front and has slits on the sides. I always like to pair my oversized tops with a skinny jean or tighter bottom, that way you don't look like you're wearing bags. Here I paired this top with my favorite white non-maternity skinny jeans (currently on sale for $63 and available in all sizes), and just used a maternity band like this one to keep them up.
AND, I know I keep saying my 20-week bumpdate post is coming, but it will be live this Thursday! It's almost ready to post, but let me know if there's anything in particular that you're curious about or would like me to cover and I'll try to add it in :)
XOXO MEGAN KRISTINE.
