So, my bachelorette party was the other weekend and y'all.. I feel so loved I could cry (and I may have shed a couple happy tears.. not going to lie). I knew I had a great group of girl friends, but having them all in one place for an entire weekend together made my heart so full it could burst! They are all so beautiful on the inside and out and they made my weekend better than I could have ever imagined.
My sweet sister went above and beyond. She had never even been to a bachelorette party, but handled it like a pro! I am so thankful for her and my 2 besties for everything they did! Y'all rocked it and I love you more than I could ever express.
With 17 girls, I'm impressed to say we made it to all of our reservations on time (or within 15 minutes of the reservation.. which is basically the same thing, right?) Unfortunately, I have zero group pictures that aren't missing at least 3 of my crazy girl friends..
Here was our weekend timeline:
Coal Vines is a pizza and wine bar. Two of my most favorite things in one place?!? WOAH. They reserved a separate little wine room for us and it was perfect! Delicious food, delicious wine. I would say we all left pretty happy.
Happiest Hour was a really cool and chill atmosphere. Downstairs you have the patio & bar, and upstairs seemed a little more upbeat, but still a nice, laid back atmosphere. We spent the majority of our time here upstairs on the deck. I later discovered that the main reason we decided to go upstairs was because a couple of my friends spotted Troy Aikman. Us Fort Worth girls aren't used to seeing football stars out at the bar.. haha
I definitely recommend Dos Jefes in Uptown for brunch. They were so nice, they even comped my meal just because it was my bachelorette party! It has a really fun vibe, delicious food, and great service.
The WET Deck at the W was also awesome. The pool is way bigger than I expected and it's heated which is a plus. There was actually a cold front that came in on Saturday morning and we were unsure if we were going to get to have a pool day at all, but the water was so nice! They also gave us complimentary drinks from the bar, which was sweet!
Most of my friends live in DFW, but a couple of them had to drive back to Houston & San Antonio. That drive is brutal and I'm so thankful they made it for me :) It was a great weekend spent with my favorite group of girls.
Below are links to a few of the things that I wore (or similar) to my bachelorette weekend. I took full advantage of being a bride and wore nothing but white the entire weekend. I'm so sorry I don't have any pictures!
Happy Monday Loves! Have a great week!
XOXO MEGAN KRISTINE.
