Happy Tuesday, loves! I hope you're off to a great start of the week.
Today I wanted to share a date night look featuring this amazing ruffle dress - and y'all, I LOVE this dress! It's one of those you see and you're like.. "yeah.. it's nice", but when you put it on, you feel like a million bucks. I instantly feel like the dancing girl emoji in this dress - so fun! It would be perfect for a fancy little date night out on the town, or even to wear to a wedding. The fact that it's easy to move around in and it feels like butter are just a couple other reasons why I'm totally loving this number. The asymmetric cut, paired with the beautiful ruffle detail and gorgeous color make this dress one of a kind.
Because the dress is so gorgeous alone, I didn't need to do much to complete this look. I paired it with my favorite Lisi Lerch earrings (these seriously go with any outfit, casual or formal), my black block heel sandals and a clutch and I was ready to go! My arm party consists of this Daniel Wellington watch, one bracelet from this Baublebar set, and a gold bangle. Such a simple, but glamorous look!
So this past weekend, we took a little weekend getaway trip to the hill country with my in-laws. It was such a fun weekend full of relaxing, laughing and the most beautiful views. Our little cabin sat right on the creek in Dripping Springs and it was so perfect. I could definitely get used to drinking my morning coffee while watching the sun rise with a view like that. We grilled, hiked, played games and ate (too much, probably). I love trying new restaurants, and the Austin area never disappoints considering they have SO much to choose from. We had dinner Saturday night at Pieous. I was blown away by the line at the door, but it was totally worth the wait. Their pizza was made from scratch and delicious, which we then followed with a hot fudge sundae. We basically had to roll on out of there! On Sunday morning, we stopped by Crepe Crazy for breakfast on our way out of town. They have so many different crepes, and even have "savory" crepes, sandwiches and salads if sweet crepes aren't your thing. Sweet crepes are my thing, so I went with the Nutella crepe & added bananas - so good. After that we all said our goodbyes and headed home. I always hate goodbyes and wish everyone lived in the same town so we could each other whenever we wanted, but it was such a great weekend!
Did you take any weekend/spring break trips? I'd love to hear about them! I hope everyone has a great Tuesday :)
XOXO MEGAN KRISTINE.
