Happy Tuesday loves! Thanks so much for stopping by :)
Ombré Chambray... Say that 10 times fast!
My sweet mother actually picked this dress out for me. To be honest, it's not something I would normally go to, and I definitely wouldn't have purchased it online without trying it on. Although I have a chambray obsession, high necked tops and dress aren't usually my thing. For some reason, I'm a weirdo and if anything is touching my neck, it makes me feel like I'm choking (dramatic, I know). So, when I was shopping with my mom one day, she picked this dress up and said "OMG Megan, look how cute! Try this on!" and I immediately said "nahh..". But she ignored me and was persistent enough that I finally gave in and tried it on just to make her happy, and I was surprised with how much I actually loved it [similar story to how I (or my mom, I should say) chose my wedding dress! **See that story HERE]. The high neckline surprisingly didn't bother me whatsoever, and I loved how the dress fit. It's oh so soft and comfy and has become my go-to for summer festivities lately. Speaking of go-to's, these suede mules are my #1. If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you've heard me rave about them. They're cute, have bows, and are comfy.. what more can you ask for?! I think they're the perfect touch to complete an outfit and can be worn with dresses, pants or shorts. You get it, I'm obsessed.
So I'm getting my eyebrows microbladed this weekend, and I'll be honest, I'm nervous. Not only am I a total baby when it comes to pain, I'm also a little anxious about possibly not liking the result. If any of you have had this done, I'd love to hear from you and would really appreciate your opinions/thoughts. I do, however, think it will be totally worth it being able to skip the 'whole drawing in my eyebrows every morning' step in my makeup routine. Add that to my eyelash extensions... I'm getting pretty lazy haha! Stay tuned - I'll be doing a review about my experience and results from microblading here on the blog in the next month or so! I'm going to the sweet Sophia Lee in Dallas - she did my wedding makeup and I know I'll be in good hands :)
I hope you are all having a great week so far! As always, feel free to comment/email/DM me if you have any questions or would like to chat!
