All Black + Sleeveless Cape

Hello Spring!

So excited that it's finally this time of year. I think spring and fall are my favorite seasons. The weather always puts me in the best mood and it makes me want to sit on a patio with a nice little (or big) glass of wine.

I can't believe it's already the end of March, but this year has already been one of the best yet. So many great and exciting things have already taken place this year, and I'm so excited to see how the rest of the year will go. We have been so blessed this year, and I feel like I've cried more happy tears in the last few weeks than in my entire life altogether. GOD IS GOOD, Y'ALL!

I hope everyone had a great Spring Break and/or weekend! Carl Michael and I took off Thursday and Friday of last week, and I think it was just what we needed. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law were both in town over the weekend, and it was so good to see them and show them around Fort Worth. My sister was also in town, and we found bridesmaid dresses for her wedding in September! They are so flattering and the prettiest color and I can't wait to stand by her side. She also asked me to "officially" be her Maid of Honor and I of course said YES! It was a great weekend.

I've had these black distressed jeans on repeat constantly lately. I rotate between these and the Levi's y'all have been seeing me in (literally non-stop). I guess I should maybe find a pair of jeans to obsess over that isn't distressed.. haha. My dad always teases me when I wear distressed denim and says "You didn't pay money for those, did you?" What. A. Jokester. My black jeans from this shoot are actually almost sold out, which makes me so sad, but I'm linking a few similar options at the end of this post. This black top is a great staple to have in your closet for honestly almost any season. I've paired it with anything from jeans, fur vests and coats/blazers, to even shorts when it starts warming up. I love it, and the neutral color makes it easy to pair with almost anything. This duster vest was a gift from my parents last Christmas, and I'm obsessed. Unfortunately, it's also sold out (tear), but I will link a few similar options, as well as a few lighter options since the weather is warming up (yay spring!). Adding a duster vest can easily make any outfit look more put together and sophisticated, which I love!

I hope you are all having a great week so far and enjoying this beautiful weather! I have so much content to share with you guys over the next few weeks, so stay tuned! ;)
