I've shared a few of my favorites below, as well as a few products I've had my eye on to purchase and try out. I've also explained a little more in-depth about each product and why I love it/why I've had my eye on it. As always, if you have any questions or comments, feel free to send me an email or comment below. You can also view even more products on my shop >> Sephora Beauty Insider Event page or I hope everyone has the best weekend!

IT Cosmetics - my mom actually got me hooked on the IT Cosmetics line. She has rosacea (although almost unnoticeable), and she loves their makeup and beauty lines. I have tried a few products from their skincare and makeup lines, and I have yet to be disappointed. I stopped using these products when I found out I was pregnant, because many of them contain retinol, but I will definitely be adding them back to my routine once I'm finished breastfeeding.

Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks - I was sent a PR package this spring that had so many of these lipsticks. I'm not usually a lipstick gal and I tend to stick to glosses on the daily, but I will say these are my favorite lipsticks, by far. My favorite shades are "Gubby" and "Stark Naked".

Drunk Elephant - This is a line that is newer to me. When I first found out I was pregnant, I stopped using so many of my daily beauty routine products because I had a fear that they weren't pregnancy safe. When Lauren Sims announced she was pregnant and did a blog post about her favorite beauty products that were pregnancy safe, I decided to try out this line. I have been so impressed with everything I've tried, but I will say my face is thanking me for adding the Marula Oil to my daily routine.

T3 Micro Whirl Trio Wand - I've had my eye on this for years, and I think I'm finally about to pull the trigger!

St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse - My go-to favorite self tanner. Great time to stock up!

Foundations - If you've been eyeing a foundation, or maybe you're just looking to try something new, now is a great time to get it at a discounted price. It's also a great time to stock up on your favorites that you know and love. This Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation is amazing - my sister's wedding makeup artist used it on me and I can't believe I haven't purchased it yet! I've also heard everyone talking about Fenty Beauty and this Diorskin Forever Perfect Foundation.

Baby Registry Must-Haves

Happy Monday, loves! I haven't posted to the blog in forever, and I thought I would jump back into things with a little baby post :) (33 weeks as of yesterday.. getting so close!)

With my baby shower just around the corner (this weekend - woohoo!), I thought it was the perfect time to share some of my favorite baby registry items. Walking into Buy Buy Baby for the first time after finding out that you're pregnant can be extremely overwhelming. Believe me - been there, done that. There are a million options for every item you need, plus a million options for things that you don't really "need" at all. Thankfully Carl Michael and I had my mom come along with us to help us decide what we really need for Baby C, and we were able to pick out a ton a great items. We also registered for a few items at Target and Pottery Barn

I hope this post helps you gather some ideas if you're just getting started on your registry or feeling a little overwhelmed. Take a deep breath and realize that all baby really needs in the beginning is you, a safe way to get home from the hospital (aka: a good car seat), a place to sleep (bassinet), a few onesies, and food.

I went into a little more detail on a few of my favorite items below the collage below. If you're working on your registry, good luck, and please don't hesitate if you have any questions for me or would just like to chat about why we chose a certain item! You can also view a bigger list of my registry under the tab baby >> my registry.

BASSINET - we decided on this bassinet after doing a little research, and also after hearing basically 99% of our friends recommend it. We thought about getting the SNOO (which is what Carl Michael wanted), but I couldn't see spending that much on something we would only use for a few months.

STROLLER / CAR SEATI knew I wanted this stroller/car seat combo basically before we were even expecting. But after we found out we were pregnant, we went to Buy Buy Baby and tested out quite a few strollers, and it was a no-brainer. Convincing Carl Michael that this was the best didn't take long! I am so excited about this one and I can't wait to use it when Baby C gets here. It's light, easy, and safe!

HIGH CHAIR - I think the high chair was the last thing on our registry that we decided on because there are so many out there that just seem SO uncomfortable. But my mom and I were at Buy Buy Baby the other day and saw that this one was on display, and it seemed so much better than any of the others we'd seen.

CHANGING PADIf you watch my Instastories, you may have noticed I may be a little too excited about this little changing pad.. haha! But I love it and it will be so easy to clean up. I have received so many messages from moms saying they have this one and absolutely love it!

WIPE WARMEROkay, so many of you may find this "unnecessary", but I think it will be so nice to have. I mean, changing diapers in the middle of the night and using freezing cold wipes.. not for my little babe :)

BOTTLES/PACIFIERS - I was and am still pretty lost here. I put a few different brands/types on our registry, but I really think this is something that you have to figure out on your own once baby is here. I think this is one of the things that's different for all babies, and you have to find what your baby prefers. I've heard good things about Como Tomo and Dr. Brown's bottles. By the way, the wall of bottles and pacifiers at Buy Buy Baby is absolutely insane and completely overwhelming.

SWING - I've heard good things about this one. We'll see how Baby C likes it :)

MONITORThis is another item that has so many options to choose from. I let Carl Michael choose basically everything electronic, and we decided to go with the Nest Indoor Security Camera and use it as our baby monitor. I will keep y'all posted on how this works out!

PACK 'N PLAY - I'm not a huge fan of pack 'n plays. They all seem so uncomfortable and I don't see us using one too often. But we chose this one for our registry for traveling and when it may possibly be needed.
